Statement
In June, 2008, Jane moved Eckert Fine Art to Kent, Connecticut from Naples, Florida and now is relocating to an historic building in downtown Millerton, NY exhibiting the paintings of Eric Forstmann, the sculpture of Boaz Vaadia and Michael Kalish along with 19th through 21st century greats in the art world.
Jane has lectured on art and has published books including The Hoosier Group, 5 American Painters by Judith Newton and Dr. William H. Gerdts. She has also curated shows for The Evansville Museum of Art, The Butler Institute of American Art and The Naples Philharmonic Museum of Art. She has served as Secretary of the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) and is currently Chair of the Director’s Advisory Committee at Mass MoCA. She is also on the Advisory Committee of the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council.
