William A. Karges Fine Art is internationally known as one of the premier galleries specializing in historically important, museum quality Early California paintings executed between 1880 and 1940. Armin Hansen,William Wendt, Agnes Pelton, Selden Gile, and Granville Redmond are among the artists in the gallery's holdings. We also handle fine American paintings by artists such as Robert Vonnoh and Childe Hassam, as well as the work of Dennis Doheny, one of the preeminent contemporary landscape painters working in the West today. The gallery is also known for their superior level of scholarship and the museum quality publications produced over the last few years.
