After 20 years of collecting photography, Peter Fetterman established himself as a private dealer before opening his public gallery at the Bergamot Station Complex in Santa Monica in 1990. The gallerys focus is on classic 20th Century Humanist Photography and represents important estates such as Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa. The gallery is the primary dealer for the worlds leading photo-journalist, Sebastiaõ Salgado.
Museum clients include The J. Paul Getty Museum, Museum of Modern Art New York, the International Center for Photography ICP, NY and the San Diego Museum of Modern Art.
Peter Fetterman is a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Lotos Club New York. He is also a member of the Photography Council at The J. Paul Getty Museum.
Peter Fetterman is the author of "Woman : A Celebration," and editor and publisher of "Cornell Capa." The gallery exhibits annually at the AIPAD SHOW NY, Art Chicago, Photo LA, Works on Paper New York, Art 20 New York, Modernism New York.
